放风筝记

生活在这繁忙的城市，哪有人还记得这小时候的玩意儿-放风筝? *放飞机*倒是有的...
我们终于在2009年的前一个星期，凑够人数... 来吧，我们去放风筝！

位于甲洞的 metropolitan park,有指定的风筝区. 很靠近 batu caves.
通常这玩意都会在三点至四点开始 *因为不会太晒* 呵呵，我乱扯的啦，应该是风比较大吧...
一路上前往 metropolitan park 都下着毛毛雨 *好担心呢* 再改期就明年了. 我们也不管那么多了，靠近目的地的天空已经飘着无数各式各样的风筝，我已经偷偷在选着我想要的款式咯...我们迫不及待，飞身到正门口，两对面的uncle auntie 一见到我们就不停推销自己档口的风筝，大的，小的，便宜的，贵的...讲了一阵子，切！原来他们是一伙的，明明就是两夫妻，一人摆一档，什么嘛？！

我和 cheeheng 很快就决定合买了一个彩色的...嗯，就是图里的那一个，500尺的线，一人出 rm10. 可是还下着毛毛雨,uncle 说这是过云雨，很快就会停雨.

奇怪，那四个家伙，没动静...

很快速的，我，yenc 和 cheeheng 就把风筝飞上天了，天助我也，风正好很猛...一直放线，越放越高...我们的风筝越来越渺小了.同时，jook,shyng 和 jaemy 不见了，回来时他们手中拿着两个风筝.yenc 和 jaemy 就放他们的风筝，同时，jook 和 shyng，拿起笔写了些什么的，在他们的风筝，相信是*爱情密语*，我们也不愿看，呵呵！

cheeheng 和我轮流控制风筝，500尺一阵子就到了尽头.
转头看看 jook 和 shyng，他们的不是卡住树就是飞不高.再看 yenc 和 jaemy，他们很努力的跑，跳...yenc 已经披头散发了，像是淋了一场大雨，jaemy 累得躺在草原上... 呵呵！
结果他们的还是有飞得很高啦... 而且 yenc 和 jaemy，也真的把风筝放了..飞得远远的...不再回头了.

原来收线也挺吃力的...好不容易才把线收回. 好玩！

I'm going to trade-in my PowerBook G4 that i'd bought in year 2002, 4th of april... had been following me studying in UK, freelancing from KL to PJ & subang.. hehe. last months i've wrote in and asked for the trade-in value, erm... after 6 years, my PowerBook cost ONLY rm400 (estimated price), it's just 5% of the price i bought it last time. *sad* but no point to leave it at home, so... i have decided to... say bye bye to my PowerBook. gonna miss it a lot~

*sob sob* missing u already...

X'mas gathering at Top Hat
time flies.. year end again, but i think it's the most joyful month of the year. why? coz there will be holidays, a lot of gatherings with friends... and most importantly, year-end sales!!

we've been having this x'mas gathering + gift exchange since... erm... erm.. 3 years ago? correct me if i'm wrong.
angeline was to assigned as the organiser for this year. very nice of her created this e-flyer (职业病) hehe, but really.. really.. unexpected & most unexpectedly, this year... all of us (yema, liz, gigi, angeline & i) attended. *full attendance* accompanied with their husband & boyfriends (liz's hubby - sebastian, gigi's darling - brian, angeline's sweetheart - kurt). as usual, the "alwiz busy team" (my hubby - cheeyen & yema's hubby - yezeung) not joining us for this dinner.

we decided to have a cozy place for dinner, top hat recommended by angeline. it's bungalow nearby KL conventional center. we had a small room for just 8 of us, maybe they can sense we will create lotsa noise.. haha, but actually the hall there is nicer, with british kinda deco, very warm feeling and home feel, and our room.. yea.. there's a xmas tree, at least got some xmas feel and some paintings with frames on the wall. the food there not bad but a bit pricey. i ordered a caesar salad with beef bacons... coz.. i was having a slight fever+flu *i will never miss our xmas gathering!!!*

everyone of us are so talkative, hehe... a lot of topics to share. the room never been quiet for the few hours of dining time. kurt is a bit shy, maybe it's the first day we met, cannot expect too much coz angeline keep him so safe and secret.

*a reminder for those who wants to try this restaurant, ask clearly is the plain water serve FREE or.. we'd being charged for RM72 (they claimed their plain water "EVIAN") which all of us feel cheated coz they didn't even ask whether we want them to serve plain water or not.

anyway unhappy things just forget about it. we had a great day, good friends gathered, everyone of us got a pressie to take home, i've got gigi's lovely cups for 2 and candles, hehe.. thanks.

organiser for xmas 2009 will be gigi. and next year, we will have a new member joining us, a pretty little girl, hehe.

早安！武来岸
三点钟凌晨起床 (一点多才睡的我) 吊着眼皮，还装得很精神的，有得玩bor... 醒醒! 去晨运啦!
武来岸 (broga hill) 在semenyih，离KL 有大概45分钟吧（没塞车应该更快吧）

五点多凌晨到达山脚下的路口，黑漆漆的... 怪恐怖的. 我们共有十三个人，齐齐越过那黑妈妈的油棕园，如果没有手电筒，伸手根本不见五指... SK 拿着"藏宝"地图（哪来的"宝"?）... 地图里的图片，张张都差不多，有地图等于没地图. 还好这里也不算什么山卡拉地方，其实也蛮多老年人来这晨运，所以已经有了一条满明显的路，跟着走就好咯.

团队里的人全都是摄影人,嗯? 不拿相机挺怪的，所以漏夜跟哥哥借他的D80 来玩玩.

我来对地方了吗? 像稻田... 我的第一张照.

不够云的云海...也不赖啦!

这里的uncles就喜欢乱喊..... "哦......喔...哦......喔....."

年轻人则喜欢乱跳.... "咿呀...."

kokwai过去也替我拍了不少...这回轮到我拍他咯. 好好享受做model的滋味吧 *忘我*

Oh & Ah
Last saturday we went to Oh & Ah. The main purpose.. yea, to visit my dear old friend TeckYew (arghh..."teckyew" sounds so "not close") yea.. to visit my dear old friend dabian - 大便. He is one of the founder of Oh and Ah.

i bought some cakes from secret recipe, as me and dabian discussed earlier, he will prepare tea and coffee for us. mama (royce) came to pick us (me & cheeheng) up at the curve, after our morning kara session with stella and beni.

been quite some time didn't meet up with mama already.. but actually we did meet once, that was in my wedding dinner, we didn't actually chat much.

another gang on their way too, was brian, gigi and liz. erm.. angeline.. erm... sleeping there and didn't reply my sms

...a place to shop *crazily*
a double storey terrace make into a super cozy place for shopping, it is really cool.... they selling mostly handmade stuff, uniquely done drawings, decos, clothings, accessories, jewelries & some cool stuffs from all over the world.
we just slowly spent our time shopping, chit-chatting and taking photos...

*aiya.. the bag so cute...* *hint hint* i want~

so many nice corner to take photos, the color, lighting, deco, drawings.. all superb nice. of course we need a good photographer. all the photos here taken by cheeheng aiya... thanks thanks...

KL trip / 15 - 16 november 2008

we've got a day complimentary premier suite from Parkroyal KL, it supposed to be on the wedding nite, but we've postponed it.

when we first got into the room 1823, it was... "WOW!" all the way from the bathroom, to the bed, the wardrobe, to the living hall, and a small working space.. so spacious... so modern and so many...."mirrors".. haha

besides just staying in the room having a fruit basket, (actually we were quite disappointed, why don't have champagne+strawberries?) we can also enjoy the privilege of Parkroyal Orchid Club, that inclusive of,
- buffet breakfast for the next morning
- afternoon snacks from 12pm to 5pm (free flow of non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day)
- evening cocktail from 6pm to 7.30pm (free flow of alcoholic beverages)
- complimentary internet access in the room and at Lounge (but i didn't bring my laptop)
- priority late check out request
- and normal facilities provided by parkroyal
- 25% discount of all restaurant/bar at parkroyal

* this is part of the Orchid club... very comfy and cozy...

we just felt.. we were so VIP on that 2 days 1 night stayed.

as usual.. shopping is our main priority and.. Pavilion was our first stop, i brought darling to Mezze, Tangs for an afternoon tea, with some fine mediterranean dishes. the food and drinks are great! you guys must try yea....
this was my second visit, first was with my sister, sitting at another corner, this time we chose to sit on upstairs, half level up.. a special platform with richer decoration and mood.

from Pavilion we walked to Starhill gallery, hunt for dinner place... the Walkway from Marriott to Starhill, it's still the same like few years back, the lights are still changing from white to yellow, green, blue and purple...

ended up we had our dinner at orchid club for free, filled with some snacks and fruits with a cocktail drink. After that we went to L'Opera (we'd been here early of this year) for another drinking session, i had ordered my all time favourite, virgin mary and a starter, fried calamari... a whole night chat with darling.

we had a great KL trip, met few old friends... ate a lot.... and i bought a new heels at charles & keith.. keke.
